Nigel & Maria look forward to welcoming you to our idyllic, adults only camp site on the coast road within 20 minutes drive of Cardiff and Newport and all the great things both cities have to offer!

We moved to Ty Coch back in 2006 and immediately discovered it is a special place, and too good to keep to ourselves, So we set about renovating the farmhouse and preparing the land to fulfill our teenage dream of running a camp site and many years later we realised the dream!

Ty Coch is unique and the most frequent and appreciated comment we get is 'this place is 'created with love'. We have worked hard to create a beautiful place for us to live as family and

a touring park that is stunning and wonderfully relaxing for our camping guests.

And you will never be stuck for things to do in this lovely part of South East Wales, including walking the beautiful coastal path, visits to historic houses, castles, fabulous premier shopping at Cardiff City Centre, the bay and the barrage at Cardiff Bay with it's marvellous array of restaurants and eateries to suit all budgets and so much more! We are also within a short drive of some of the most wonderful market towns, the seaside, and the countryside. On our doorstep is the beautiful Peterstone Lakes Golf Course, The Parc Golf Course, and the Celtic Manor Resort, host to the Ryder Cup is just a short drive away. Also within walking distance, we have fishing lakes, a farm park, and within a mile,

 two local pubs with good food.

With a friendly relaxed atmosphere and great facilities including a gated entry, 15 hard stand pitches and 15 grass pitches all with electric hook up, Wi-Fi, excellent showers and extensive local information you will have found the perfect pitch whatever you decide to do! and remember we are open all year! At Ty Coch we enjoy the wonderful bonus of being within a 'micro climate'

and get up to a third less rain than in-land!
