To get to Ty Coch use the postcode CF3 2TU. The postcode will bring you to Marshfield village store which should be on your left hand side. Proceed forward over railway bridge (Y Maerun pub below) to the T junction, at the T Junction turn left and Ty Coch Camping and Caravanning is first on the right.
If you do not have a sat nav:

leave the M4 at Junc 28

then take the A48 signposted Castleton/St Mellons

in 2.8 miles leave the A48 for the village of Marshfield (opposite the Coach and Horses Inn)

drive through the village out the other end over the railway bridge (Y Maerun pub below) to the T Junction

at the T Junction turn Left and Ty Coch is first on your right.

Cardiff is 15-20 mins by car - Newport is 10-15 mins

The demand response bus will pick up from the Camp Site but has to be booked 24 hours in advance. not really viable for Cardiff or stadium events

Cardiff City Football Stadium run a shuttle bus service to and from the stadium during events.
BUS SERVICES
Nearest bus service into Cardiff is 2 miles away at the A48. Every 25 minutes and stops @ midnight. visit the web site below for bus times

Q. Are you open all year? A. yes we are open 365 days of the year
Q. How far is the Cardiff City Centre from the site? A. approx 8.5 miles or 15-20 minutes by car
Q. Do you accomodate children at any time? A. No, we are adults only and cannot accommodate children
Q. Are camp fires & BBQ's allowed on site? A. only raised fire pits & BBQ's are allowed and used in respect of other campers
Q. Is there public transport from the camp site? A. No, the best way into Cardiff for events is by taxi, or bus from A48

Q. Are you dog friendly? A. Yes, well behaved dogs are permitted on a lead. Dogs are not allowed to be left
unattended on site (i.e while at concerts, events etc) No dangerous breeds.

Q. What is the earliest we can arrive? A. 1pm except by prior arrangement and subject to pitch availability
Q. If I have to cut short my stay but have already
paid can I get a refund? A. we don't offer a refund for unused nights
Q. What is the latest we can arrive and check in? A. strictly 9pm (sorry we cannot accept new arrivals after this time)
Q. What time is check out? A. 11am but we do have a late check out option S.T.A until 3 pm @ £8 per unit

Q. What facilities do you have? A. Six toilets, 4 showers, hair dryer a campers kitchen with microwave and plates etc

Q. do you allow family & friends to visit? A. No, for the enjoyment, peace and tranquility of all our campers, please arrange to meet off site
Q. can I charge an electric vehicle? A. No. we do not permit the charging of electric vehicles on site.
Q. if I pay and have to cancel can I get a refund? A. booked pitches are non-refundable however in the event of a cancellation we will honour the booking for up to 1 year subject to availability if given 48hrs notice
